Virginia Cruse Obituary
She was also preceded in death by her parents, George and Bertha Mullins; her son, James C. Sanders; and six brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Humphress and her husband Walt Abendroth; stepdaughters Sharon Cruse and Karen Clemons and her husband Gary. She also leaves behind six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and her granddog, Charlie.
She retired from the Reynolds Metals Company in 1973 after thirty years of service. Jenny enjoyed life and was always willing to tell her age and do a little dance for anyone she met. She was a member of Renewed Christian Fellowship.
Visitation will be at Evergreen Funeral Home on Preston Highway on Saturday, July 6, 2013 from noon to 2 p.m. with services immediately following at the mausoleum chapel.

Bev, I will always remember how sweet your mother was to me. She was such a spry and spirited lady into her advanced years, setting an example for us all. My last memory of this dear lady was the two of us taking Charley and Prince for a walk near your house. This was just before you left for Florida, and I remember thinking, 'Hope I am able to walk the dog when I reach Jenny's age." May you find consolation in knowing that you were a wonderful daughter, that you were always there for her. You provided her with a sense of safety and love, so she never had to feel alone as she grew old. I admired the way you cared for your mother, just one of the reasons I love you and cherish your friendship.

Bev and all, So sorry for your loss. Your Mom was such a nice lady and really knew how to cut up and have fun. I will remember fondly visiting you all in Florida and our breakfast at the beach. May God bless you all during this difficult time. Praying for you and sending sincere sympathy.

Karen so sorry to hear about the passing of your step-mom "Jenny". I remember her so much when you came to visit your Dad and I would come down to their house in the Court. I lost my Mom back last Oct and it's very hard, so I know what the family is going thru right now. My Prayers are with you and Beverly during this difficult time.
