My mom and dad, Viola Ward and the late John Ward became friends with the Lawrences and Landers at St. Mary PB Church. Our families served in the church together and enjoyed fellowship outside of church at FAMU football games at each other's homes, etc. We don't live in Tallahassee any more, but my mom and I visited Mrs. Virginia Lawrence at TMH in 2019. We fellowshipped and prayed like when they were Deaconesses. Mr. Lawrence and Mrs. Lawrence were role models, trailblazers, and mentors to...

I had the pleasure of meeting Virginia through her son Jason Lawrence a few times and I have to say she raised a great guy and obviously loved her family. Each time we met her and her husband were happy times and it's obvious she is also loved by many. Many condolences to the Lawrence family.

My prayers and condolences to the Landers and Lawrence Families on the loss of dear, sweet, Mrs. Virginia Lawrence. I will forever remember her as my favorite English Teacher. She was always very nice, pleasant soft spoken and helpful! One of the best! Gone but never forgotten! May she Rest In Peace!
