Not sure what to say?

We bought a house that had one of her murals a few months ago and I've been staring at it wondering about the magic hands that created. Today I decided to look her up and see she's passed. But know that she is still bringing a smile and wonder, even to people who never met her in person. We're lucky to have her magic in our lives. God bless all of you.

We say a house with one of her murals on the entry hall way. And I thought we need to get this artist to our home to let her imagination go wild with beauty. For four months she drove to our home and did her magic - when we had a suggestion - all she would say - "I'll do it"
We loved her talent.

This lady was my inspiration when I saw her at the YMCA, always smiling and full of life. What a wonderful lady! My condolences to her sons.
Linda the Brit

Virginia was one of the first people who welcomed me to the community over 25 years ago. We saw each other sporadically through the years, but each time was a joy. I bought her a book about the Delaware River that had great pictures in it, because she was working on a similar project. She was stunned that I thought about her...but how could I not? She was a light that shined brightly. So sorry we couldn't get together to share happy stories about her to comfort the family. I have so...

Virginia was an amazing, talented, beautiful lady and I was so privileged to know her and call her my friend. Her legacy will live on forever with all the beautiful murals she painted throughout the State of Maryland. My condolences to her family. May God grant you comfort in your beautiful memories.

Although I never met Virginia, I feel like I knew her through her artworks and murals. As a past art educator in Frederick, I always admire those who teach and bring art into our lives. She was an accomplished artist who shared her love of beauty. She shall be missed, as I send my condolences to her children and grandchildren. God bless.

She was a national treasure. So talented.

Virginia was one of my real life idols, I know were not supposed to do that but she was so amazingly talented, loving, kind and a truly one of a kind who will be missed by many of us. God bless you until we meet again.

Before I saw the obit, the one thing I thought of about Virginia was her smile and laugh. Incredibly talented, genuinely king person. I'm glad I had the opportunity to meet her.
