Vivian B. Calhoun

Long time resident of Baton Rouge, Vivian B. Calhoun, 92, passed away on September 6, 2023, in Denton, TX. Vivian was a loyal and dedicated employee of the State of Louisiana where she supported many state officials until she retired in 1996. She is survived by her daughter, Trudie Vick (Rob, Jr.); grandchildren, Rob Vick, III (Corinne), and Bonnie Salyer (Rodney); great-grandchildren, Riley and Chloe Vick; siblings, Belle Cook, Jack Brown (Bobbie), and Doris Kjerluf; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Calhoun; great-grandson, Austin Salyer; her parents, George and Gertrude Carter Brown; and her siblings, George Brown, Sybil Lemley and Myrtle Cook. A visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA, on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 11 am with a graveside service immediately following at 12 noon in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
