Mr. Stocks, Jonae, and the Stocks family; I am truly sorry for your loss. The loss of Dr. Stocks is giving up a part of yourself, and nothing anyone can say will lessen your grief. Jonae, I pray that the love that surrounds you be a source of comfort to you at this time. It may help to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Vivien Shivers began "touching the lives of students" before she graduated from Spelman College. She tutored me and others in Math at Spelman and truly made a difference. I have valued the friendship of the Shivers sisters and they have my sincere sympathy in the passing of Vivien.

To Jack, Jonae and ALL other members of this family, my heartfelt sympathy is extended to you. As my former principal, friend and co-worker, Dr. Stocks was ALWAYS willing to " go the extra mile" with the faculty and more importantly, the children. She trusted us to do what was best for C. D. HUBERT ELEM. SCHOOL, and with her guidance, we did.
