Wade once impressed me by the way he was reciting poetry ... I later learned the poetry he was reciting was the poetry that he wrote,..

I'm so sorry I missed the memorial. I remember buying one of his crafts at WEIO, it was stove glass he made into what looked like a feather. The recipient of the gift was extremely happy to receive it. True beauty!

I loved Wade so much. He was always a bright spot in my day. I remember years ago when I first met him-he was actually very quiet and shy! I love the person he became. I remember one night he broke out his harmonica and played the most beautiful blues. In recent years whenever I didn´t see him I would call him to be sure he was okay, so our deal was he would drive by the store so I could see him and know he was okay. He was a blessing to so many and is greatly missed.
