I have known Doc for 14 years by now. My wife has known him for about 4 years. I remember him always tinkering in his hanger, the conversations in the airport lobby when anyone would stop to talk, his toughness but his concern for life, his willingness to help his fellow pilots, and I also remember his grumbling when something didn't go exactly right. It would be difficult to find anyone who enjoyed life more than Wade. He was a devoted and loved husband, father, and grandfather. His zest for life and love for family touched and inspired many.
