Although it has been many years since I have seen Mr. Parker I do remember him fondly as one of the kindest customers we had at Bank of America on 26th St. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing but am glad I had the chance to get to know him.

I first met Mr.Parker at his Maxine's Restaurant on 19th Street and Jefferson Avenue. The food he served up, especially the hamburger and hot dog boats,were a Godsend. You could feed your entire family in a friendly, clean enviroment for a very reasonable price. Then came Chic A Sea.:)Talk about some good chicken, seafood, and sides...it was and is the best around.
