Not sure what to say?

I am sorry that I was just informed of Wally's passing. I spent more that half my Albertson's life either working with or for Wally. I have truly lost a dear friend and a wonderful mentor. He will be missed.

Wayne and I have great memories of a few special boat trips with three boats, all people associated with Albertsons , Wally and Gay included. He introduced us to an after dinner treat, Sambuca with 5 coffee beans (just a happy side note). What a wonderful person who touched so many lives.

Condolences to you Gay.

Much Love,
Helen Willis

`Our prayers go out to Gay and family on your loss of Wally. I had the great pleasure to spend many quality times with Wally in Business. WE worked hard and played hard for many good years. God Bless with our love and Prayers. Carl and Beba

We are sorry to hear about Wally. We miss and love you.Janice (Biggs) Jones and family.

I really enjoyed the time I spent with Wally and when I built his home and one for his daughter, he was very fair to me and I will never forget when he invited me to Palm Springs for a German dinner he and his wife were fixing for 22 folks, one oven did not work and everyone ate and left at 8:30 pm and left the 3 of us with dishes until midnight! A great and generous man who loved his family

My wife and I knew Wally and Gay from their close friendship with my parents Frank and Kathy Reynolds. My first job when I was 16 was with Albertsons and Wally made it a point to come by when he was in Portland to say hello. Many years later when my parents and the Jordans lived in Palm Desert and I would visit from Tennessee it would a highlight of the trip to go see Wally and Gay. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Jordan family.
