I knew Wayne through his corvette shop. He was always very kind and patient with me when I would question him to death about how to do this or that, or what that would cost, etc. I found him to be a very genuine man, and knew from his manner that he was a Believer. I always thought he was a beautiful soul. I'll miss him. My condolences to your family. Jesus gained a good one, didn't He?

Very sad news learning of Wayne's passing. I have enjoyed playing golf with Wayne for many years, and know that he will be missed as he has been one of our Sunday group for a long time. Not always on his game, but always a gentleman. He believed in the rules, and went by them. I wish him peace.

Phyllis, I was so shocked and saddened to learn of Wayne's passing. I have many fond memories of growing up with him and knowing him in school. I remember how well he could draw and paint. At Christmas time he would always be chosen to help paint a scene for the Christmas bulletin board. Unfortunately due to prior commitments, I cannot attend the services this weekend; but you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Wayne always had the most wonderful laugh that would fill up an entire room. He always helped anyone whether it was a college science class, a computer problem, which radio to buy, or of course corvette questions. His love for Queen Anne's Chocolate Covered Cherries at Christmas was always high on my list to get him as soon as they became available during the holidays. The best brother in law anyone could ever have. We love you, Wayne.

Wayne kept the Corvette dream alive for so many people! He personally put together 4 cars for the Guys over here in Huntsville Alabama. His Corvette Forum comments contributed credible input to thousands of Corvette Enthusiasts. His loss leaves all with an incredible loss for the hobby but more importantly, the loss of a dear friend, who was kind and generous with his time and knowledge.
Be joyous in having had him share his life with us and know that we will see him again.

Wayne you were always so funny to me growing up. I didn't realize you love the civil war history as much as I do, I guess that is why we are cousins. See you again one day! Love you as my older cousin. Karen Ann
