Not sure what to say?

I've been searching for Wally for years! I'm so very sorry to read that he is no longer with us. We were neighbors while we coached at East Carolina. A good man!

RIP Wallace you will forever be missed u make your mark in this world now do it in heaven.

Went to high school with Wally we just hung out and played pick up basketball together! Loved the big guy may he Rest In Peace!

Wally was a great teammate and friend! A gentleman. I'm sorry he's gone and I didn't know.

I had classes at EKU with Wally and remember his presence in the classroom and on the football field. Glad to have known him in the 1970's.

May u rest in peace with God at your side, a kind and gentle giant, I'm proud to have known you God bless

I played 3rd string behind Wally at Mt Clemens HS in 1968, and always thought how good he was as a player and I envied his skills. I followed his career from Chicago to the Buccaneers, but always wondered how he was doing. He probably didn't even know who I was, but I sure thought the world of him. So sorry to his family for your loss. The memory of him playing in the NFL was followed by my wife too, as I relayed how I played "behind" him on the 3rd string. ha. To this Super Bowl day...

When I was very little I met mr. Chambers at a Cadillac dealership in McHenry Illinois..he impressed me with his size but also how nice he was to me......sorry to hear of his passing..I'll always remember him.

I remember back in the late 60's early and mid 70's playing basketball against Wally with Clyde Cushingberry and Donnell Craft out in Romeo and Mt. Clemens, Michigan. Wally was a man among men, a man with good character, great athletic ability, a good friend and a force whether playing basketball or football. My condolences to the entire Chambers family.
