I worked with Wally & car pooled years ago. He described his early years growing up in Poland as well as suffering under Nazi (and later Communist) rule. He did not seem to bitter at all. He had a great sense of humor.

I will miss Walter dearly. He has been a big part of my life since I was 8 yrs. old. Oh the stories! I have always kind of thought of him as my second dad. He will always have a special place in my heart. Love, Laura
