Not sure what to say?

wow as i was going down memory lane googling names of my past, this is a childhood memory , he was my pediatrician, I will never forget a face, he also saw my son a few times 1969-70 , definitely was a great Dr in Washington DC, R I P Sir

My sympathy to the family of Dr.Walter Combs. I can never forget him since he was my own pediatrician .My parents respected him greatly. I was born in 1954 and graduated from Howard College of Medicine in 1980. He was a pioneer in Pediatrics. He was a founding member of the Pediatric section of the National Medical Association. I speak on behalf of my sister Gisele and brother Clarence III. So lucky to have an accomplished physician to take care of us during our vulnerable years!

I am deeply sorry for your loss. My prayers and thoughts are with your family.

An EXCELLENT doctor to the babies in our family for many years (the oldest was 50 8/28/12). Thank you, family, for sharing him with us. We will always remember and appreiate his service. God bless and comfort you. Thelma G. Bradford

Our prayers are with Leslie and her family during this time of bereavement. We pray for God's loving arms to embrace you and carry you through.

so sorry to hear of Dr Combs passing.
He was so kind and gentle with children.
He took care of two of my children and they are grown now, they don't make them like that anymore.
God bless the family, my deepest sympathy.

A fine Doctor, very gentle, and trusting. Will miss you, and love you always, May GOD keep blessing you and you family.......Mark Jones(9/1960)

Deepest sympathies to the family. I remember those trips to see Dr. Combs when he was at 9th & Rhode Island Ave NW with both excitement and fear of having to get a shot. However, there was something about his eyes and smile that was comforting. He was a very special man. May you find comfort during this difficult period in knowing how much he impacted so many lives.
Dr. Barbara Clorey (born in 1956)
