Not sure what to say?

Dear Jeretta,

Thank you for encouraging me to spend time with Nibs when I was in Tucson last month. The visits were very meaningful to me.

Nibs was a dear friend in our growing up years and I will always remember our times together with great fondness.

Please convey my love to the rest of the family.

His Nibs and my family go back a long way. As kids we shared adult free camping adventures at Sabino, expeditions to Mexico, walks home from downtown, and car and bike chases at Gilpin in the days when FW kids lived free and wandered wide. I left town years ago but was in touch with Nibs recently. We just picked up where we left off. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed well beyond his immediate circle. My condolences to the families. Tom Holladay, Laredo, TX.

Dear Jeretta, Merva and Andrea. the time i will miss the most are the times in the shop when walt and myself alway had to get dino to clean. He will be deeply missed, and always in our hearts forever. "Let the trip home be a grand journey." See you soon my friend.

What a loss. Our love and prayers to all of you. I feel very fortunate to have met Walt and to see how much one family can do to help others. Thank you. xoxo

Jerretta and family,

I’ve known Nibs since 1957 in our sophomore year at FWHS. He was always a fun guy to be around. I’ll never forget hearing about the night he tried to drive the bus through Johnie’s Drive-in. He had a magnetic personality and that drew many to him. He will be missed.

I remember Nibs from many years ago. Our families were friends and Nibs mother, Annabelle, was a partner in my parents' (Harold and Shullie Eisenberg) business, Windowcraft.

I remember many happy times visiting the Douglas family home and remember Nibs as a funny and kind young man. I remember going out into the field behind their house in Flowing Wells with Nibs where he taught me and my brother Paul how to shoot a shotgun. Nibs father, Walt, taught my father to fly at Freeway...

only god knows how to care for us and walt..he has eased your pain forever. you will be missed by us till we meet you again in that wonderful land called HEAVEN.please save a space for us

I worked with Walt for many years and have many fond memories of him.
We are praying for God's comfort for Jeretta and the whole family.

He was my tormentor and my mentor. He taught me to run and to fight and to know when to do both.
He was my big brother.

God, take him and love him as I did.
