Many times I have repeated the words of my father who said, "the best compliment a person can get is to be called a good neighbor." Your father certainly was a "good neighbor."
He was the only person my father thought enough of to sell off a piece of the farm land outside of the family. Years later, when my
daughter and husband were trying to build a new home and ran into a slight glitch, your father offered to help at what could have been risky to his own land...
