Walter T. Sheridan

Walter was my friend and mentor, and was the first head coach to hire me at Salem H.S. He hired me again when he was at Saugus H.S., and was a very influential and strong supporter when I was given my first head coaching opportunity. Having moved to Florida 37 years ago, I have lost track of the family, and hope that they are all healthy and happy. I think of Walter , often, he was a huge influence in my life.

Connie, my deepest sympathies to you and your entire family. It has been a long time with no communication, mainly because I've been in Ft. Lauderdale, FL for the last 27 years. Walter gave me my first oppurtunity in Salem and NOBODY ever taught me more about coaching than he did. Irean Vickie and I extend our deepest sympathies to Connie and all my cousins and their families at Walters passing. He was a great brother-in-law to Irean and Art as well as the best of uncles to me and will be greatly missed, We are so sorry that we can't make it out for the mass and all.
