Not sure what to say?

Smart, funny, great husband and father, good son and brother, great friend. Great friend who I will miss so much.
I'm not sure I've met another man so comfortable in his own skin which made him really great to be around.
Goodbye my friend,

Jo Ellen & Family

As I read all the wonderful notes from your friends and neighbors, it would be difficult to add more of what a great guy Walt was.

I was there at your wedding and also when your children were born. It has been a great friendship for over thirty years. I am so glad I got to
visit with you while visiting family
in Omaha last October. Please remember that I am
thinking of you and your family.

JoEllen and family, We were so very sorry to hear of your loss. Our thought and prayers have been and continue to be with you.

To the family,
Walt always knew how to get you to smile on your worst day. He was one of the first people to know both times I found out I was to be a father. The first thing he did was look at me and say "Good luck, kid!" There isnt enough time or words to describe who great of a guy Walt "IS". For he will never be gone to me, just down the road a bit. See ya later buddy.

Although at this time of sorrow there's so little words can say, still may these words of sympathy help comfort you. We will miss seeing Walt at our gatherings and especially his stories.

I am shocked and saddened to hear of Walt's passing. We first met in 7th grade and once in high school and several years after we spent an enormous amount of time together. Such a gentle soul and naturally funny man. Even though I haven't maintained contact with Walt (entirely my doing) I always have and always will consider him a friend and a key part of the foundation of my life. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

My deep sympathy to all of you. I am Maureen Hauschulz's mother and I was your houseguest last August. I was so sorry to hear from Maureen this morning about Walt's passing. Please know I was so happy after 30 years to see him and meet you all last summer. Know I will keep him and you all in my daily prayers. He was such a good man.y Please enter a condolence here

I have only fond memories of Walt, we met in junior high and have been friends since then. Although I moved to the Pacific NW we have kept in touch. I know how much he loved his family and life itself! I am glad we visited last summer and met Lucy and Sam! My love to all of you during this time.

JoEllen & family,
We were so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We always went away with a smile when we ran into Walt around the neighborhood.
