Not sure what to say?

Walter was a good fishing buddy with Tim Phelan and John Bahrakis and the keys he was a great guy.

Walter Thayer was one of the best man I´ve ever known. I was in the Air Guard with him and enjoyed his friendship as well as his xtreme knowledge of his trade - I remember his 1967 GTO - maroon and black top - and his enjoyable sense of humor - a good man who never had a bad word about anyone - RIP my friend

We just heard of this sad news. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you Betty and your family. The Thayers were always so kind and thoughtful to my mom and all of our family. He touched so many lives and will always be in our hearts. Our sympathies. Sylvia´s girls (Alice, Elaine, and Dede)

Walter was always quiet when I saw him. Strong, but quiet. Sweet man with a big heart. He will be missed. I am so sorry for your loss. Love, Elaine
