As Walter's 10 year anniversary approaches, I just want to thank Eddie and Donna VanMeter for sponsoring this Guest Book. It gives us such solace to revisit this site and read all the wonderful memories and commentaries and to recount how he touched so many lives. It was not until today - 03/03/2013 - that I learned of Walters passing. We were both employed at the Massport Police in the early 70's. Our last meeting was in Stoneham and as his obituary describes...he was enerjetic..animated and full of life. So young...rest in peace my friend.

Dear Paula, Lindsay, and Lauren,
I accidentally came across Walter's death announcement this evening while looking for another death notice. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. He was far too young to leave us. Please know I think of you often and enjoyed all the years that I baby-sat for the girls. You are in my prayers.
