Not sure what to say?

Thank you for writing God I´ve Gotta Talk to You. It was my favorite prayer book as a child and believe it or not, it´s simple prayers brought great peace into my adult life. May Rev. Walter rest in peace.

Than, Sending you our sympathy and holding you up in prayer. It was a gift to have had Walt as a teacher and I treasure his many stories. Thinking of you and your family.

It has been one of my absolute favorite novels for over 30 years and has a treasured place on my bookcase and in my heart. My deepest condolences go out to his family and loved ones at this time. He will be remembered!

"Between love and pride, pick love." - Walter Wangerin Jr., Paul How often I've been comforted, inspired, encouraged, by the words written by this dear man. Thank you, Lord, for Rev. Wangerin (or, as we readers know him, Walter Wangerin), and his willingness to be used of You to share Your love, mercy, salvation! And may You comfort his family and all who love him.
