I see your picture and thousands of memories come flooding back. You were an inspiration to all who knew you.

I worked at Divi Divi as a Hostess from 1972. Under the leadership of Roger Coster. I had the privilege to talk to Mr Wiggins, he was a very humble person.

Approaching two years of Mr. Wiggins' passing and still thinking about he and Joyce. I have been intertwined in many ways with this family since 1980. Always and forever grateful for their mentorship, sponsorship, and friendship. Thank you for sharing so happily and so freely, so much of yourselves. May they rest in peace. xxoomm

Wally gave me the biggest break of my career (and life). I had been a desk clerk at the Ramada for a couple of years, and forty years ago next month, on October 7th, 1980, Wally called me down to the Gazebo for breakfast. He said the hotel's controller was moving on and would I like to become the Ramada's controller. I had no experience, but he told me he knew I could do it, and with his faith in me I learned and did the job. The experience I got inspired me to go on to business school...

Dear Scott, Jonni, Marcus and Kaethe, I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Wiggins' passing this past week. I loved working at Divi Resorts in Ithaca and always considered it the best job ever! Scott, you, your dad and mom taught me so much about the hotel business not in terms of numbers but in terms of loving what you do, experiencing what you are selling and working with the best group of people always. Wally was a wonderful man and had so much life in him. I’m sorry to hear he has left this world. He brought so my joy into the lives of myself and others. I always enjoyed his stories and being with so many friends and family in France!. I’ll never forget and always be grateful.
Rest well Wally but I’m sure you won’t, instead, you’ll be singing and dancing with your loved ones in heaven.

When I read the passing of Wally Wiggins, tears came to my eyes! Wally was my lawyer for the pass 20+ years. He helped me thru the darkest days of my life when my late husband passed away and the tragic accident of my daughter Heather Mix Collins.
