Not sure what to say?

I am Fred Wong's oldest grandchild. I see him all around me; it is like he has never left

Our deepest condolences to the Wong family. Fred was such a blessing to us and was deeply respected by Joe. We hold you in our prayers during this difficult time.Sincerely,The Neally Family

It was with great sadness to hear from Andrew about Fred.
I first new Fred in the start up years of Ansco under Jim Carfagno, Bob Bedessom and Bill Heuer.
Fred always joined our meetings and gave management our leeway excepting when he knew certain things would not pass muster with Pauline Chan in Hong Kong. Many times he wisely spared us that unneccessary confrontation. Ansco dominated the western and midwestern markets in those years. Fred's input to Haking was essential in...

I was very saddened to hear about the passing of Fred Wong, who played such an important part in my camera business life. I was the Midwest Regional Manager for Ansco Photo Optical and was headquartered in the home office, which was always bustling with new camera prototypes, packaging, sales sheets, promotions and trade shows.
I have always had a deep affection for Fred and will always remember his humor, kindness, and sense of family within an international...

I was saddened to learn today from Andrew Wong's message of Fred's passing. I fondly remember Mr. Fred Wong especially during the1990's - a golden era for Ansco cameras and the Haking group. It was made more exciting thanks to Fred's leadership in USA and the great team of people he assembled in Chicago. One of my highlights each year was the annual pilgrimage to the PMA show. I recall with affection Fred's warm friendship and hospitality not only when in the home base of Chicago but also in...

Fred hired me to be his Western Sales Manager in 1990 while he was rebuilding his Sales Organization. I was very comfortable with his friendly and professional style from the start and could alway go to him if I had questions or problems.

We worked together until the company closed down and during all that time he was an honest and close friend as well as a strong mentor. He was alway interested in the welfare of his Ansco Family and took care and guided us when it was needed. ...

On Sunday morning, August 28th, I received a message from Andrew Wong that his Uncle had passed away. Wan-Huen Wong, also known by his many Business Associates as Mr. Fred W. Wong, or simply as Fred, by his Family, Many Close Friends and his Special Ansco Employees had passed and was now in a better place.

I was told he had been ill for quite ill for some time. I was shocked and so very sorry to hear about his passing.

I met Fred in 1990. Prior to joining Ansco, I spent...
