Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home - Evendale/Blue Ash Obituary

Wanda Mae (Chapman) Burke, 96, passed away peacefully on the evening of February 22, 2025 in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. She was born May 20, 1928 in Megs County, Ohio to the late Lyle and Vona (Nelson) Chapman.

Wanda and her late husband of 64 years, Ollie B. Burke, were longtime residents of Blue Ash, Ohio. Loving and devoted mother of Debra Burke and the late Tommie Burke; cherished grandmother of Ashley Cooper and the late Dustin Burke,  Libby (Stephen) Rodgers and Jon (Kristin) Treadon,  great grandmother of Tyler, Cameron and Blake Leagans, Noah Cooper, Lucious and Chloee Burke, Harper, Riley and Charlotte Rodgers, Sutton and Holland Treadon, and Stephanie Burke, great-great grandmother of Meira Halcomb, Kelvin and Rory Burke; beloved sister to the late Donald, late Ralph and late Ronald Chapman, aunt, and friend to many throughout her lifetime.

Wanda dedicated her life to taking care of her family and meticulously maintaining their home. She loved baking and her blackberry pie was always a requested favorite. Wanda was keen on fashion, beauty and antiques. Her family established their very own Burke’s Antiques trade. Wanda and Ollie were also longtime members of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. We know Wanda’s ray of sunshine will continue to shine through her spirit now surrounded by heaven’s glow.

A funeral service will begin at 11 AM Monday, March 3rd at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home, 10211 Plainfield Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241 with interment to follow onsite at Rest Haven Memorial Park.  Online condolences may be shared at www.MRFH.com
