Not sure what to say?

I met the Mr. and Mrs. Bolin in 1983 in Mankayane, Swaziland. They helped me with education for 3yrs. I lived with them as family. I tried to track them in 2013 only to learn from Ruth that Mr. Bolin could not be able to hold a telephonic conversation. Today I learn here that he is no more. My condolences. May his soul rest in peace.

I was a student teacher in 1972 with Jim Webb and Gary Walls let me coach the Freshmen Bomber football team. Mr. Bolin intimidated me at first but as I got to know him he shared a lot of football knowledge and strategy with me. He was stern on the outside but had a good heart for kids on the inside. Madison was a great school with great teachers and coaches who prepared me for 34 years of Teaching, Coaching and Athletic Administrator. Thank you Mr. Bolin for your wisdom and heading me in...

My 82 year old father was coached and taught by Mr Bolin at Washington High. Imagine our surprise when I sat in his Geometry class in the mid Seventies at Madison. He definitely left an impact on our family. Many thanks!

My wife always reads the obituaries and she noticed one was of Warren Bolin who taught at Washington High when I attended there. Mr. Bolin was my American History teacher during my junior year, 1957-1958. I remember him quite well because he did me a very large favor. It happened during the first day of class when he asked a history question to which I knew the answer. Being somewhat of a smart aleck, I just said it out loud. He kindly informed me that in his class I was to raise my hand...

Mr. Bolin's geometry class at Madison was the best; it was fun and I actually 'got it'. Plus even in the early 1970's he was bald just like my dad! Please know that he made a difference in a lot of student's lives.

Thanks, Coach, for being such an important person in my life. You were a great teacher, coach and role model.

Mr Bolin was my Geometry teacher at Madison High School in 1978. He would get so excited about the pythagorean theorem! He would jump up, wave his hands in the air and say "hold the phone! Hold the phone!" He was so enthusiastic and passionate about math and his students. To this day, whenever I'm trying to explain something to my kids I try to channel Mr. Bolin's passion. I've thought of him often over the years and feel grateful to have had him for my teacher. I'm glad that he lived a...

Mr. Bolin was my first year Algebra teacher when I was a freshman. He was a great teacher, and always there to help students when needed. Even though it was a math class, he still paced in front of the class like a football coach.
