Wayne I´ll never forget our last chat on the phone. I look back on the conversation and can´t help but think you knew things weren´t good but you never let on! I´ll always cherish our friendship and hope we cross paths in heaven. You certainly added a bright spot in my life rest in peace my friend!

I met Waine in the army in Fort sill Oklahoma back in the summer of 1977. When I first met Waine he chose me to go with him on tank trails to test drive jeeps for the motor pool. I remember sitting on the battery box catching my coveralls on fire and just watching Waine laugh at me. Had a good time all that day. Got in trouble when we got back to the motor pool but it was worth it. I’m happy to say the last day I spent with Waine. And just like the first day I met him laughing and having fun....
