Not sure what to say?

Although I only new Dr Dear for a short time, I found that he was very kind and caring with family and friends.

It was my pleasure to know and associate with Wayne while we were students at BUCM 1957-1962. We were in the same clinic group during the clinical years at Baylor. I knew him to be an outstanding gentleman,
an excellent student and firm friend. He will be sorely missed.

Dr. Dear,
You were very dear to me and you will always be in my heart and thoughts. I enjoyed every moment we worked together in the cardiac cath lab at St. Luke's hospital. I often thought of you since your retirement. You were friendly, funny, soft spoken, and so organized. You carried an air of sophistication and professionalism that I admired. I will truly miss you. My prayers are with your family.

Wayne: A quiet gentleman with superb vision of his contribution to the future He gave to all he encountered. Wayne was a great man. We will miss a good friend.

Wayne and I have been close friends since childhood. He introduced me to my wife and was God Father to our son. I will miss him deeply but I will never forget him.

It is with deep sadness that I write these words in past tense. Wayne gained my respect as a fellow cardiologist when I had the honor of working with him in Houston. Over the years of our friendship he has embodied the qualities of a great physician whom I have always admired. He also was an ambassador for the "Texas social style" which he so elegently displayed to all who met him. I already miss his daily e-mails and social commentary. I looked forward to his Annual Christmas card with the...

"My loving childhood buddy"

My prayers go out to the family, may you find peace and comfort in your Christian faith. As a recently found second cousin, I have enjoyed our short vists at the reunions.

Dear Dear Dr. Dear,
I worked for you almost 20 years, and have thought of you often since you retired. No one could have a better "BOSS". I have many fond memories from working with you all those years.
You were a great cardiolgoist and took superb care of all my family members thru the years
You will always be in my "Heart"!
Best wishes to Miss Peggy, Jim & Jess, my thoughts are with you during this terrible loss.
Always,
