Not sure what to say?

To Ruth and Family, To say that Wayne was a giant would be a massive understatement but he sure was !!! I met him almost 35 years ago and he continued to mentor me in many phases of the building materials industry while at Alside. I´m sure I was not alone. I will never forget what a wonderful soul he was and how he always had a positive disposition on everything !! In addition to the many trips together while with Alside, he was always just a phone call away. I remember our mini discussions...

Wayne and I were friends since 1957. We had a lot of fun hanging out in high school and even during college during vacations. We even went into the army at the same time. After that, we each kind of went our own way, but we kept in touch all these years. He even honored Kristen and me by accepting our request to be our son´s godfather. I will miss him so much and regret that I wasn´t able to see him when he got sick. I had planned to set up a visit this coming spring, not realizing the...

Wayne was a dear heart and will be missed here. I'll never forget the great job they did for the garden tour. He got his group to set up such a fun bar. His smile there was huge.

Wayne, we are heartbroken but thankful that you can breathe easily and in no pain. You left me the greatest gift of all...our son and daughter. Your lasting legacy are Eric, Becky and our five beautiful Grandchildren. You indeed did live an amazing and blessed life. I cherish the memories we made when we were raising our young family and so grateful we remained friends all these years. Ruth, you indeed were the love of his life. May you find solace in knowing that.

Ruth...my condolence to you at this sad time. Not more than a few weeks ago I ran across a beautiful note you had written to me. I lived at your Water St. 2C apartment in 2013-14 in Sandusky. It was a wonderful experience.

I was blessed to reconnect with Wayne and spend a wonderful evening with him, his wife Ruth and her daughter and stepson. I weep for the distance between us over the years but God was kind. I will always love you Cousin.

Wayne Fredrick loved the Lord and enjoyed sharing his faith with others. He and his wife Ruth held a Bible study each week in their home. So many people wanted to join they started a second Bible study every week. Wayne loved being with people and everyone he met was a friend! He looked forward to spending eternity with his Lord and Savior!
