Not sure what to say?

Not the same Wayne (Jarvis) Rountree from 'Match Game 74'. That's (Earl) Wayne Rountree (III) as W(J)R hasn't lived in Dallas, Texas. While (E)WR (III) has. However, both have since gone on to pass.

I am watching, right now, the episode where Wayne Rountree appeared on Match Game. I was curious and looked him up. Sorry to read that he had passed.

My sincere condolences to the Rountree family. Wayne was in my graduation class '66. He will be miss by many. So sorry for your loss.

I have known Wayne and Joyce a long time. I remember all the Christmas parties and his kindness and laugh! He was great man and good husband, father and friend! He fought for so long and is finally in peace now no pain! He will be missed so much! Love to Joyce and family!

My nephew, Wayne, was important to me in so many ways. When I was young. because we were close in age, I was invited to spend a week with him . I especially remember the candy store that was a couple of blocks from his home.

We grew up together and on weekends his family would come down to visit .
We often played games - basketball and board games and cards, so we started practicing early for our senior card playing years and trips to Myrtle Beach, etc.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this sad time. Im a family friend from Michigan and could not attend Waynes celebration of life. Hugs to you all. Raecell Bascom

Joyce, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. I am so very sorry for your loss. Wayne fought the good fight, with your right by his side. May you find comfort that he is now with God and no longer in pain.

I have many memories of Wayne from when I was growing up and spending time with Brenda and the rest of the Rountree family. One moment that stands out was the day Wayne took me on my first motorcycle ride when I was a kid. It was only about two blocks down the road from their home and back but it was a big deal to me. I am so very sorry for the loss of such a special man. I'm holding you all in prayer for the coming days. Sent with lots of love.

Joyce,
What a great time we had at all those Memorial Day race trips!! That's where we came to know and love you and Wayne. What a fine man, fun companion and dear friend.
We have lost a dear one. Our condolences to the family and friends. Our love, Chuck and Hope
