Not sure what to say?

Decades ago we met and in time went our separate ways. I just learned of your passing. Good night, my friend, safe journey. Aloha.

I learned scuba from Mitch and needed a brush-up course and lessons for my son, so I looked him up, and I am saddened to hear of his passing. What an incredible spirit with strong values and an ability to teach! Godspeed to Mitch and those who's lives he touched.

I have known Mitch for almost 20 years. It was a privilege and an honor to call him a friend and have him in my life. He was there for when you needed things done and to see the joy and beauty in the world under the water. He is and always will be an inspiration to live life to the fullest. The family and I will surely miss him.

The faculty, staff and students of Archbishop Riordan High School send their deepest sympathy to the Mitchell Family. Mr. Mitchell will be remembered in our daily prayers.

I went to St.Paul's grammar school with Mitch, he was always fun loving. When I was dating my husband in high school we all hung out...lots of great memories.
My sincere thoughts and prayers to Kay and Jennifer.
Much Love,
Jean Jirgens-Hackman and Roy Hackman

Mitch was the NAUI Instructor that taught me how to dive here in Monterey. He's responsible for giving me the skills and confidence to enjoy my favorite past time and entry into another world.

Thanks so much Mitch. RIP.

We were saddened to hear that Mitch passed away, and our thoughts and prayers are with Kay, Jennifer, and family. We met Mitch several years ago when he and his family were in Chico visiting Fran and Nick Tzugaris and family, and we could tell that he was a real special man. He lived a good life and will be well remembered by the many lives he touched.

I met Wayne when we were little guys at St. Paul's grammar school and living on the same block played together for many a year.

We both went to Riordan High and were in some of the same classes together.

After graduation we didn't see much of each other just on occasions.

The graduation class at Riordan has a get together and would meet once a year at Christmas time and we would have a couple of drinks, lunch and catch on each others life's.
Rest in peace my Friend.

Mitch was and still is a great guy. He certified me about 8 years ago. A great teacher.
