Not sure what to say?

I was so blessed to have known and care for this wonderful man! I extend much love and prayers to Ms. Betty. So sorry for your loss. He was your passion and the love you shared was tremendous.

For those of us who grow up without fathers, coaches play a special role in our lives. Wayne Shellnut was one of the greats for me. The thing I will always remember is how fun he made playing football. He was truly special. Thank you, Coach, for everything you did for me. You made a difference in my life.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Wayne was a very special and good individual in many ways during his life as I read his obituary, plus his loving wife shared with me. I never had the pleasure of meeting Wayne. Betty you were the love of his life and he was yours, as I testified how you went daily several times to make sure he was ok and spend time with him, even though he had the best care. Your love stood out. Hang on to those wonderful memories and your beautiful...

He was a wonderful loving uncle, father and husband. He will be truly missed!

So sorry for your loss. I'm sure he will be missed by all. May he rest in peace.

May God’s loving Spirit be a source of comfort and strength to Wayne’s family during this most difficult time. Wayne was a classic example of a faithful and loving husband, father and friend. A truly good man that will be greatly missed. To know him was to love him.

Dad you've been gone for a day now and I already miss you..im.gonna miss everything about you..you were the greatest Dad a son could have...knowing you are gone has taken something out of me..I'm gonna try and move forward and make you proud..most of all I will take care of Mom for you I know you would want that..Until I see you again know that I love you and will miss you..

wayne was a very special friend to us and we will miss his "I love you" every visit to the Nursing Home. I believe he is home with Jesus and maybe playing ball of some kind. If Betty needs anything I will always be there, for his boys also.May his extended family give comfort to Betty at this time in her life.
