MCPS lost a leader who was ready to help those in need. He was a loving person. He helped me a long time ago and I will never forget him. The day has come for him to rest.

MaryBeth, Christopher and family. I absolutely adored Wayne. He was a shining star in MCPS and in the world. His loss is still unbelievable. Wayne was a great administrator who hired me to come to MLK. He became a good friend to me and my daughter Michelle. He was her principal at both middle and high school. He also helped her get a four year scholarship to college by staying on her to get her applications and writings done. Of course his humor saved both myself and daughter many times. Rest eternally in peace.
