Wendell and I met on the train when we both headed to Howard University as freshmen. The train started in TX, picked up me and Willie Harper in AR; stopped in OK and picked up more freshmen. Headed to KY and picked up Wendell. By the time we arrived at HU, there were about 21 of us. We became besties. We were family. We hung out together.
