Werner Hans Kramarsky was my commissioner for four years when I worked as an attorney for the New York State Division of Human Rights. Unlike most agency heads, Commissioner Kramarsky took his responsibilities very seriously and, in conjunction with some brilliant attorneys and staff members, expanded human rights in New York State and by extension, based on NY's status in business, in the entire country.
