We were on vacation in Seattle when this happened and just heard about his accident last night. Please know that your entire family is in our thoughts and prayers. Marcia, Josh, and Family,
I had a chance to get to know Wes as he was converting his career from law enforcement to education. He was great to have around and the basketball teams at Doane College loved Wes.
Nothing would have made Wes prouder than the way Josh delivered the eulogy at the funeral. The other thing that would have made Wes proud was Marcia's strength. It made the whole family strong.
I will never forget Wes, both at his time at Doane or being a father...
