DANIEL, Wilbert Lee
(1939 - 2011)
The Lord gave this world a precious gift on July 18, 1939, when Wilbert L. Daniel was born. The Lord knew he was a gem, and called him back to his kingdom on February 23, 2011. Wilbert loved his family and is leaving behind a wonderful wife (Sharon) of 51 years, two children, daughter, Theresa (Dale), son, Stephen (Tanya) five grandchildren (Shara, Stephen, Nicole, Brandon and Dale II), two great-grandchildren (Jameson and Patrick), sister (Leta), brother (Emmett), wonderful sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law and a dear friend Virginia Ashby.
Wilbert had many friends he adored and whom adored him. He loved life. Wilbert enjoyed the special moments with his family, grandbabies and friends. He also loved working in his garden, recycling and was an avid bowler. His love for bowling led him down an awarding path of coaching children for over 20+ years. For all of the people Wilbert touched, he will be remembered as a loving husband, father, papa, a great coach and friend who was always there for them. He had a great sense of humor and a very honest approach to life. We will miss him terribly, but he will never be forgotten because we know he was greeted with open arms by our family and God in heaven, and one day we will reunite with him.
Services will be held at Mount Vernon Memorial at 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks, CA 95628 on March 9, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. The family requests that contributions in Wilbert's memory be made to Wilbert.
