Not sure what to say?

I remember him as a stern, no-nonsense NCO when I was a young PFC at the 1/75th at Ft. Stewart in 76. In 1979, as an SGT, I worked with him again as an instructor at Platoon Confidence Training in Bad Tolz, Germany. Was my very close friend in Vietnam. B CO 1/503 1965. So sad to hear of his passing. Was hoping we'd get together again one day. Great man. I always knew he would be a great soilder.

Bill was always so very friendly and kind. He made us feel welcome whenever we came by. We will miss his warm smile and remember him with great affection. Brenda you have our greatest sympathies and are in our hearts and prayers. May the Lord hold your heart during this difficult time. We love you dear friend.
