I just recalled something about Bill that people would like to know. He was smart. Sometime in the late fifties or early sixties, Bill entered a nationwide contest about movies or literature. He won the contest.
The prize was a trip to the Rose Bowl and the Rose Bowl Parade.

I have known Mr. Barth since I was 9 years old and became best friends with his daughter Carla. I remember he was always very funny and used to make us laugh a lot by saying wacky things. But I think he will be remembered most for being a classy, intelligent and refined gentleman.
