I was deeply saddened to hear of Bill's passing. I was honoured to spend some time with him and glad that I got to know him. He was inspirational, caring and knew how to make me laugh. He will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers go to his family.

Bill was a warm and loving father-in-law, who made a point to verbalize and demonstrate how much he truly valued me as a part of his family. Always being warm and welcoming, flattering me with showers of compliments and allowing me to witness his most sincere and heartfelt smile. I'm so touched that he took my hand Thanksgiving Day before he passed and told me he was glad I was a part of his family. Thank you for raising a wonderful son, who carries on your silliness and love of life and treasures me every day, just as you always did. I consider myself blessed to have been able to call you Dad. I love you so much and will miss you and will keep my promise I made to you to make sure Brian eats his greens.
Your Daughter-in-Love,

The last days I had with him were the best and he loved me as his blood and filled whatever room he was in with love and laughter.
