Not sure what to say?

I was deeply saddened to hear about Bill's passing. He was always a welcome visitor at the Mt. Southington ski patrol office. His enthusiasm for the ski club helped an enormous number of students learn about the thrill and joys of skiing.

Mr. Benzing was really cool. I never had him but i was wishing i got him in 8th grade. Every Wednesday we used to go snowboarding and he would be there taking pictures of me and my friends. It was so fun hanging out with him on the slopes. He would always say hi to me in the halls. Every one says hes a great teacher and i wish I could have gotten to have him. Rest in peace, you will never be forgotten.

I never had Mr. Benzing as a teacher. I was only in seventh Grade. Mr. Benzing was a once in a lifetime teacher. Everyday he went the extra mile just to say high to me in the hall everyday after 5th block. Although we cannot see Mr. Benzing I know he is in a better place watching over us. I can remeber it like it was yesterday when Mr. Benzing was taking pictures of me on my first snowboard at Mount Southington. Mr. Benzing was also an avid contributor in saint mary's church. The one thing I...

A great friend once told me "Goodbyes are funny, because you'll never know when you're saying your last one." Mr. Benzing was not a teacher of mine, but a friendly face around the school and community. A teacher in Bethel for 35 years, a soft ball hall of famer inducted in 2002, an asset to the community, and being a volunteer are some of the many things I knew him for. He will be missed. My sincere condolences to the Benzing family.

Bill was a truly dedicated member of our BMS staff. His involvement with the community will leave behind a legacy. Bill will be greatly missed by all.

As a classmate of Bill (Bethel HS Class of 1969) it was with deep regret that I heard of his passing. He was a great friend to all: always with a smile on his face and laughter in his heart.

I was very suprise to hear of Mr.Benzing passing. My deepest prayers for his family. May he rest in peace.

Mr. Benzing was a great teacher. He taught me so much about math and about life.
He will always be remembered. May he rest in peace.
