Bill was my uncle in-law. I spent a summer with him and Marilyn my junior year of college, circa 1983. It was full of great memories.
We worked on the house, picked cherries, and had the occasional bourbon and branch. I am so glad I had that time with Bill.
Godspeed Bill for I know you're in a better place.

Bill and I were class mates at Granby High School, He did most of the art work on our 1943 year book.He was no doubt the best artist I have ever seen.
Best wishes to his family.

Bill was my favorite instructor at VCU. He and Marilyn were friends and mentors to me as a young art student/designer. He even wrote me a letter several years ago. So many people were touched by their kindness and love. God Bless. -Will Flynn

My sincere condolences to the Bevilaqua family. Loosing a loved one in death is very difficult to deal with. May you find comfort from God who " binds up the brokenhearted" and "comforts all who mourn", Isaiah 61:1,2.

Bill Bevilaqua was a friend & a colleague at VCU in Richmond, Virginia. He was ALWAYS thoughtful & kind. That along with his wonderful intelligence & sense of humor made him a memorable teacher & colleague in the School of the Arts. Everyone that knew both Marilyn & Bill can attest to their amazing attention to detail in everything they did. When his wife, Marilyn, became ill years ago, he was an excellent caregiver who patiently took care of her needs for at least ten years until her death. He was active and independent enough that even a year ago he was still mowing his large lawn in Old Church on a riding lawn mower. Bill will be missed for his artistic abilities, his sense of humor, his love of cats & people and his grace, plus style, as a true southern gentleman! Knowing Bill made me a better person.
