Not sure what to say?

Good grief. I was wondering around the Net and I discovered the obituary of my half cousin once removed. My father the late Dr Adam S.Borst, who was the younger brother of his grandfather whose name I never knew. They have the same father, my grandfather and namesake William A. Borst. I last saw Bill 39 years ago at his Aunt Florence´s home in Greenwich. My son Matthew then five was with us. I met his girls, and remember his dark-eyed lovely wife. Sorry to also read of her demise as well....

We are sending our deepest condolences to family members for their loss of a wonderful, dedicated and hard working man. We didn´t get to know Bill well but always thought highly of him. He will be greatly missed.

We are so very sorry for your loss. Jack, Kevin, Jon, Mary, Michelle & Marie

You will be missed not only by your family and close friends, but by the community you loved and served your entire life.

Steff and Aly, we are so sorry to hear about your dad's passing. Please know that we are thinking of you both. Keep together and share all your memories of your dad. Reach out to family and friends if you need anything or just to talk. We are here for you. Love Bill and Cora

Dear Borst family, Fire Department Brothers and Hebron friends and neighbors: Bill was a fine man, a great lawyer and a fine fireman. I enjoyed being under his watch as Fire Chief at Hebron Company 3. Bill was my family's attorney and I respect him a lot. May he rest in peace.

Mr. Borst was there not only as my best friends father but when I got into my car accident when I was 16. Knowing he was there made me feel better. A true hero.

We are so sorry for your loss, Alyson and Steffanie. It has been a long time since you lived on Niles Road next to us, but the feeling of family among us in this community still exists. I know your Dad will be missed.

Sending sincere condolences to all for the loss of such a determined fine man. Leslie Peterson
