My name is Laura Blake, I met Bill in 1979 in Carbondale, we worked together at Stan Hoye's and were best friends until I moved in 1983, our friendship did not end there. I went to Canada with him thru Golden Frontier tours, met his mother a few times for dinner in St. Louis, picked him up from the airport when he returned from Peru, met him in New Orleans for a long weekend. I am heartbroken, I had been trying to contact him for the last couple of years. I love you Bill, see you on the other...

Bill, It's obvious you touched so many lives just by being you. You were a kind soul, a friend to all, had a smile that was contagious and a real pleasure to work with. Thank you for being you. Miss you.

POSH meaning Elegant and Fancy. I said to Bill one day this year that he elevated our eating experience to Posh. He had not heard of this word but he liked it. It describes his personality "classy" and we laughed at it, in fact it describes him to a tea. He was "classy". I will miss my Posh friend.

Bill's friendship was very special to me. He was a very loving, supportive and caring individual. Our lives drifted apart these past few years, where distance and time slowed our friendship. Always fond and enjoyable memories where his smile, humor and love resonate. Happy for the friendship that will always warm my heart and brighten my life. You are missed.

Bill was such a gentle soul. Always loved working with him. I am thankful he is no longer suffering and know we will meet again (John 14: 1-6). My condolences to his family and many friends. Rest in Peace Bill...Grandpa Frank

I worked at NRG Stadium with Bill - he was 2 suites over from me during football. He was such a pleasure to work with him. I was very saddened to hear the news about Bill. My thoughts & prayers are with your family at this difficult time.

Bill, I will miss you, you've been a wonderful friend all these years. I loved your smile, your sense of humor, and your kindness and compassion for others. My heart goes out to all of your family and friends. Rest in peace.

Bill was one of the friendliest person I knew at Continental. I retired in 2011 and he was so encouraging to me. A Loving Man! My heart goes out to his family.

I will miss Bill for his humor his smile and his kindness...R.i.P my friend 'Gone to soon'
