Not sure what to say?

Charlie, I think of you now and then, I cannot believe, you are no longer with us.I still laugh to myself at some of the things we did as kids, and as we were growing up. I remember, when we danced all night at my sister's wedding, when you tried to kiss me in the cherry tree, and I gave you a bloody nose, playing baseball at Prairieview, going to the football game with you, on our first date. I walked home at half-time, because I was afraid you would kiss me good night. Those were the good...

Charlie, You were the spark of our high school class and your spark lives on in us.

For over 25 years you have been a friend and a father to me.

When I was 10 you coached my Fine Lake girl's softball team.
When I was 13 and 14 you chaperoned dances and homecoming activities.
When I was 15 you taught me to drive.
When I was 17 you didn't yell when I took out a fire hydrant with my car.
When I was 20 you held me as I cried for the loss of my other dad, Ron.
When I was 21 you bought me my first Long Island. (Thanks but yuck!)

Charlie you were always first class in my Heart, You always brought a smile and a good feeling when you were around. Becky and I will never forget you. May you walk with God and the Boys.

For those of us who knew him in school, he is what I remember fondly about Lakeview High.
My deepest sympathy to brother Jack and his family.

Rest in peace dear friend. You will be sorely missed by so many who loved you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Dear Charlie, how saddened i was to hear of your passing. I will always remember your constant huge smile, and cheerful way. You had the girls "lining up" to dance with you always. I was so lucky to have you as a date for two proms. All of Lakeview alums are saddened by this early passing. Enjoy this next chapter!
