William J. Bruton

I am so sorry for the family , wife and daughters of Bill. We were once very good friends when I was a student at the University of Maryland, and Bill was in his last year of Med School at Georgetown. I know how you feel, as I just lost my husband, Robert Shuck on March 10/24. We would have been married 64 years on June 11. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. Betsy

Barbara, So sorry to hear about Bill's death. I happily remember our years together as residents at HSS and together we traveled to Chicago to take the first part of the Orthopedic Board exam. Great times, great memories. Fran and I have you and your family in our prayers. Fran and George White

Barbara, My deepest sympathies to you and your family. I remember your courtship so many years ago when we were at Yale. Life goes by too fast.

I worked w/Dr Bruton at Loon Mountain for many years. He was always eager and happy to help. He always had a humorous story to share. His and Barbara's marriage was something to admire. Barbara would always come along with him, sit in the waiting room knit/crochet and chat with the people who were waiting while their loved ones were cared for. Dr Bruton had a very special way with the children who came in for care. He will truly be missed. Rest in peace Dr Bruton you were one of a kind.

I am so lucky to have known and worked with Dr B. Barbara and his family are in my thoughts and prayers. We are better for knowing him!
