Not sure what to say?

Dearest Joey, Eleanor, Grace and Henry, I never had the pleasure of meeting you three (though I did receive the Christmas cards and could so clearly see your parents in each of you) and Joey I wonder if you remember me from your brief time in NYC and, of course, from your Christmas card mailing list! Thank you for putting me on it and keeping me on it for so many years.
I first met Bill in LA -- we were both working at an ad agency, Ogilvy&Mather (maybe he was interning?). Anyway,...

Glad I got to know him. Always enjoyed the sailing connection that just expanded with his interests & his passions for family, friends, and adventure.
What I remember most was the joy I would feel when he would go from serious face to happy face! He was both an intense and a caring man.
I will miss you Bill Buckingham. God speed.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family, especially Joey, Ellie, Grace, and Henry.

Thinking of you and your family today, Bill, and celebrating your life the most we can here at work (breakfast for the floor!).

To the Buckingham family, may you have strength and peace especially today. Warm hugs.

Bill, you always did things the right way buddy.

We will miss you, Buck.

Bill was a rock, I don't think he liked tennis but he played because we were all there and thats the beautiful man he was.

I had not seen Bill or Joey in years, but they are both really special people and I am very sorry for your loss Joey. Bill, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers Joey. Tom Mortimer.

Bill came from a great family! they will all miss him, but more importantly all will never forget him, whip

My condolences for the entire Buckingham family. I can only imagine what this loss means to you. I have found a few Stanford sailing pictures- we won a lot of races that year and he made All American. Wonderful memories and so sorry for your loss. Peace.

Heaven Scent

My prayers and thoughts are with all of you. It has been many many years since we have spoken but some friendships never end. Growing up together on McFarland Lane in San Marino (1965) and the days at the Newport Harbor Yacht Club, of hide and seek in the boat yard all seems like ages ago. We all grow up and go our separate ways. But some people will always remain in your heart.
