HIGH POINT N.C. -- William Charles Collins, 81, of High Point, North Carolina passed away on Friday, May 19, 2006.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Bill was a renowned artist and former Director of the Portland School of Art. Bill served as a pilot in the Army Corps during World War II.
Bill is survived by his son Michael Collins, and wife Julie of Rehoboth, Mass. and daughter Lisabetta Troia of St. Louis, Mo. He is also survived by his special friend Sylvia Harrison and her children, Chan Harrison, Dana Haynes and husband David, plus seven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of choice.
