Not sure what to say?

I had the distinct pleasure of knowing Dr. Conrad. He was a mentor, father-figure and great friend. His insatiable spirit for learning and reading and researching were unmatched. In losing him, we lose a truly unique and wonderful person who touched many lives. I will always cherish the visits I had with him and our great friendship. Our deepest sympathies go to Alex, Beth, and Vicky. I will miss you my dear friend. May your Heaven be filled with priceless works of art, endless...

DeVilbiss Class of 1963 was blessed to have William C. Conrad III as a beloved member!!! We are very proud to call him a life-time friend. May you rest in the love that he gave and the difference he made in our world. Our prayers are with you and yours.

My condolences to the family of Bill. I was with Radiology, Inc for almost 20 years, and left Ohio in 2004. I only recently heard of Bill's death, and feel a great sadness. It sounds like he battled for life and health until the end. Again, my sincerest condolences.

Bill was always helpful whenever I needed his professional advice during the 18 years I knew him, and for this I shall always be grateful. His sense of humor is the trait I'll most remember.

Please accept my deepest sympathy.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

So sad to hear Bill has passed away, being he was five days older than I. He was a really nice person, who I remember growing up at McKinley and DeVilbiss. Constance Hood Culbertson

Bill was a good man and we will all miss him but he is only gone in body. He will always be with us in spirit and memory. May we find peace in this time of sorrow.

Please accept our condolence. I will
miss those days when Bill shared the
same reading room with me at East.
Bill is my teacher, my student, my
confidant, and my inspiration. I have never met a person who faced
so many handicaps and obstacles in
life and yet remained optimistic to
the last minute. Bill is a scholar,
a man of erudition not only in
Medicine but also in Arts, History
and Literature. I will treasure those days when we were engaged in conversations...

My thoughts are with you. One of the things I found remarkable about Bill was his attitude. Despite his medical difficulties, he always seemed in good spirits, striving to get back to work. I admired his commitment to medicine, intelligence and drive.
