Bill monitoring operations at the Seattle EOC during a EmComm Drill

I first met Bill in 2001 after the Nisqually earthquake when I joined Seattle ACS. I wasn't sure what to make of him but it didn't take too long to figure out he was quite knowledgeable in emergency communications. Bill helped to build Seattle ACS (ham radio emergency communications) into what it is today and I will always be thankful for the knowledge that he passed on to every one. Bill was a great guy to work with. What a nice guy !!.
My prayers to the family.

Bill was my first and greatest mentor in computing. Not only was he an excellent technician and teacher, but his enthusiasm for life was an inspiration.

Even in times of great stress, he always had a smile hiding underneath.

He may be gone, but my memories of him will always be with me.

Rest easy my friend.
