Not sure what to say?

To Joyce and the kids, I have fond memories of your Dad/husband from the days I babysat the kids. Always with a smile. Nancy Shea Solomon

I am so sorry for your loss. The time I spent in his company, mostly at the River, he was always welcoming and kind. Maura

What I remember most about Bill Dowling, my classmate at St. Mary's College, was during basketball season. At halftime, there was Bill, out on the court, pushing his broom--sweeping the hardwood, dressed in his janitor overalls. Cheers ramped up when Bill appeared before the home team fans.

Joyce sorry for the loss of Bill he and Joe went to Holy Name together and our children went to the same school also the special relationship you and Joe had may Bill Rest In Peace

Condolences to Joyce, Bill IV, Michele, Dennis and Michael. I had to opportunity to speak with Bill recently and we had such a good talk. Growing up the Dowlings and The Bowleys were very close and even as years and distance separated us, I still stayed in touch. Bill was funny, caring and always the life of the party. I will miss our conversations, but will keep good memories in my heart and when I think of Bill it will be with a smile and I will hear his laugh, that was like no other. ...

Just last Sunday Mark and I were able to visit and talk to Bill. He was able to respond to what I said and shared. Bill and I both went to Holy Name grammar school in San Francisco and were even in the same grad but not the same class. Growing up Bob and Bill were good friends and he asked him to be best man in our wedding in1969. Lots of good memories were made when we meet at family gatherings and at events at the Russian River. My condolences to the Dowling family
