Joe and family,
I didn't know your dad very well, but what I have heard from Gator and Ed, he was a wonderful man, and has touched a lot of peoples lives. I drew his blood a couple times at the VA hospital. I am truly sorry for your loss. I hope you find comfort in the memories and you will be in our prayers. God bless you and your family.

Sandy and family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Bill was a great friend to everyone and he will be deeply missed. You are in our prayers and thoughts. Although I know you miss him dearly, he is just over on the other side, waiting until it's time for you to come home and be with him again.

Aunt Sandy and family, I am sorry for your loss, but now he is up there with Grandpa Shively and they are looking down on us together once again, as they have always done. We loved him dearly and our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I remember Bill as a neighbor and and friend and as a good policeman. He was there when we needed him. I felt safer knowing he was in the next block from me. He will be missed. God bless you Sandy. May God bring you much comfort at this time of your loss. May He fill the void with His presence and may you have peace.

Sandy and Family, Bill was one of a kind. He will be deeply missed by all. The last time i saw him was in may or june of 2004, he was making fun of me cause I had to go to work and he was going fishing. I wish so badly I could have been there the way he was always there for everyone else. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Love you all. Tracy
